Since reforming in May 2004 as Cuarteto Farol, the band has been gaining attention both locally and internationally. Their CD "Streetlamp Tango" has been widely praised and played on radio both in Argentina and Australia, and the song "El Choclo" has been incorporated into the Fairbridge Festival's compilation CD for 2005.

Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC) Media Release - Sept 2005 Farol, accompanied by dancers, was set to transform the Don Russell into a smokey tango bar from Buenos Aires with their musical production "One Night at the Tango Bar". This was the press release from DRPAC.

Ecos de Loberia - July 2005 This article appeared in the Argentinian press following Miranda's study trip to Buenos Aires in June 2005 where she studied at the Collegium Musicum del Tango with Marcelo Prieto, violinist with the Beba Pugliese Orquesta. During the trip Miranda was also interviewed by Sabaidini from Loberia. This article appeared in the press in July 2005: Una violinista holandesa estara pronto en Loberia.
Wedding at Cullen's winery, Margaret River - March 2005 Farol played at Simon and Anya's wedding during their Margaret River mini tour. A beautiful day was had by all, and Anya and Simon wrote to to thank Farol for their lovely music.
Phylogica - March 2005 The band played at the launch of this new pharmaceutical company in March 2005, and received a letter of thanks from the company afterwards. ..."We would like to take this opportunity to 'thank you' for your service, we had lots of positive feedback and have been happy to provide your details to several people who have asked..." Fremantle Rooster - Feb 2005 With the band playing frequently around Fremantle, they have attracted a regular gathering at their public performances at the Tropicana Cafe on Saturday mornings. These performances have attracted visiting national and international Tango dancers. Ecos de Loberia - Feb 2005 The band's CD, "Streetlamp Tango", has been getting frequent airtime on local and national radio in Argentina, and both Mingo and Miranda have been interviewed via telephone to national radio stations in Argentina. This interest in the band has resulted in a full-page newspaper article about the band, and how people are enjoying listening to the band's interpretation of Tango classics such as La Cumparsita, El Choclo and Malena. The article, "Musico Loberense triunfa con el tango en Australia" (Loberian musician triumphs with Tango in Australia) appeared in the press on 23 February 2005.
