Helen Norton left Broome, Australia in the year 2000 to reside on the island of Efate in Vanuatu with her tow sons to paint and write. She returned to Australia in 2003 and now lives and works from her studio on her farm in a beautiful green valley behind the Blackall Ranges in Queensland. This exhibition will be travelling to Fremantle WA. As the nature of Helen's work is narrative, there needs to be a consistency of the story kept in place. Some major originals have been sold and cannot be shown in Perth. The artist has agreed to release some of these works as Limited Editions Canvas Reproductions - which will keep the story complete. New works not seen in Sydney will be added to the Fremantle show. |

The Courtyard Music Series runs throughout summer until April, and offers the community an opportunity to sample a diverse range of local music talents. The events are held every Sunday from 2-4pm in the beautiful grounds of the Fremantle Arts Centre. |
