CURRENTLY READING:
'So Cold the River' by Michael Koryta - loving it so far!
JUST READ:
'The Dragon Factory' by Jonathan Maberry - Fantastic novel - read the review on HorrorScope
'The Dead-Tossed Waves' - by Carrie Ryan. Has improved significantly on the first book whilst at the same time building on and throwing away much of its groundwork. Will post a review on HorrorScope soon.
'Blockade Billy' - Stephen King - a short novella. A decent yarn - glad I know about baseball, or it could have been a snooze.

MARCH 2010
I'm back! I have been flooded with writing-related work lately. It's good to take a quick break. I just finished judging the shortlist for the Australian Shadows Award. I also finished editing my YA (11-14 year-old market) novel, which was a blast. I see many sequels for that one. Issue #12 (April 2010) of my Eclecticism E-zine is going smoothly, but you can still view Issue #11 for free.
I am also in the process of putting together and editing a printed anthology (in the form of a real book; yes, real) for the Eclecticism E-zine. It will feature the best work from the first 2 years of the e-zine, plus new exclusive content from quite a few of these contributors. Pre-order details will be out soon, with an expected release date of December 2010!
