Off Power to Topfield
When you switch the Topfield to Standby it is running in low power consumption
mode. It must still be running the loader program so it can check timers and
respond to the power on button on the remote. If the Topfield wakes up or is
turned on by the remote I assume that the loader will load the firmware and the
firmware takes control of the Topfield.
Therefore if something has been corrupted Topfield memory it could remain
corrupted until power failure.
Turning off the power while the Topfield is in standby is harmless and will
guarantee a clean boot of the Topfield.
