Red Key Auto - On/Off

The Red key functionality requires the progress bar to be displayed. If you want the Red key to work without first displaying the progress bar select "Red Key Auto ON" in the TAP menu.

Note: The PIP function will not be available whilst the TAP is enabled and "Red Key Auto ON".

Ad Skip Pvr Info

Options are On or Off. If set to OFF the Pvr Info icons (Red and Green circles in top right corner) will not be displayed after and ad skip is performed.

Progress Bar Delay

The Progress Bar Delay controls how long the Progress Bar is displayed before PBK closes it automatically. Some versions of the firmware will also close the progress bar after a fix amount of time so the higher delay times may not be achievable.

Scan Key

The key that starts and stops the PBK scan feature can be defined. The default is None.

Scan Delay

The pause between skips is defined in centiseconds or hundredths of a second. The default is 300 centiseconds or 3 seconds. Press the VolUp/VolDown key to increment/decrement in 10 centisecond increments. Press the << and >> keys to increment/decrement in 100 centisecond increments.

Scan Jump

The amount to jump is specified in seconds. The VolUp and VolDown keys with increment/decrement in 1 seconds increments. The << and >> keys will increment/decrement in 10 seconds increments.

Recorded PlayBack Keys (Mode 1)

Yellow (Bookmark) key jumps forward 30 seconds.

V+ key (Forward) moves forward 5 seconds when the progress bar is displayed.

V- key (Rewind) moves backwards 2.5 seconds when the progress bar is displayed.

Timeshift Playback Keys (Mode 2)

Yellow (Bookmark) key jumps forward 30 seconds.

V+ key (Forward) moves forward 10 seconds when the progress bar is displayed.

V- key (Rewind) moves backward 10 seconds when the progress bar is displayed.

Recording Playback Keys (Mode 3)

Yellow (Bookmark) key jumps forward 30 seconds.

V+ key (Forward) moves an increasing number of seconds with each consecutive press when the progress bar is displayed

V+ key (Rewind) moves and increasing number of seconds with each consecutive press when the progress bar is displayed.

Faster Forward and Rewind

The |< and >| key macros generate 2 times the VolDown key and 3 times VolUp key per key press respectively. As a result using the |< and >| keys to move through the progress bar is two times faster in rewind and 3 faster moving forward than using the VolDown or VolUp keys.

Typical Ad Skipping Sequence

Press the red button to jump 3 minutes forward. If you are still in the commercials then press the yellow button to skip forward another 30 seconds or press the >| button to skip forward 15 seconds. Once you have skipped over the Ad’s press then blue button to jump back 10 seconds to the start of your program.
