Topfield Keyboard Enhancements
Overview The Topfield keyboard enhancements do not work with the April Firmware. You must have Dec 2004 firmware or later. Keyboard Navigation The >> key will change the keyboard set forward to the next set leaving the cursor in the current position. For example if you are on the letter A and want the lowercase letter you would press the >> key. The << key will change the keyboard set backward to the previous set leaving the cursor in the current position. For example if you are on the letter a and want the uppercase letter you would press the << key. Filename Menu If you press the key defined for the "Topfield Timer Setting Menu" default is Teletext while the keyboard is displayed the filename menu will be displayed. The filename menu will default to the fist word matching the current letter selected on the keyboard. The filenames are stored in the file FileNames.txt in the same directory as the ProgressBarKeys TAP.
You can delete
items from the Filename menu by pressing the green button.
Pronto Keyboard
Mode (Pronto TS1000)
I have assigned
a 3 digit number to all keys on the 3 keyboards. The first digit indicates the
keyboard set. The second digit indicates the row and the third digit is the
column.
For example 111
= A, 112 = B, 211 = a and 212 = b.

SMS Keyboard
Mode
If the keyboard
mode is set to SMS then the number keys one the remote will behave in a similar
way to the SMS keyboard on your phone.

Auto Case - On
When Auto Case
is set to on the keyboard to uppercase after a space is entered. Then keyboard
will then switch to lowercase after the first letter after a space is entered.
