Timeshift Control
Overview Leaving the Topfield switched on 24/7 means that it can recover from a power failure. One problem with leaving the Topfield on 24/7 is the power consumption and heat generated by time shifting. Timeshift control will automatically turn timeshift on for the specified timeshift start and end times. Timeshift Control On/Off Setting to OFF disables the timeshift control. Timeshift Start You can specify the time of day that you want timeshift switched on. Use the Volume Up and Volume Down keys to change the time. Timeshift End You can specify the time of day that you want timeshift switched off. Use the Volume Up and Volume Down keys to change the time. Timeshift Off Delay You can specify the number of minutes after that last key press on the remote that timeshift will be switched off when the timeshift end time is reached. For example if you set the delay to 30 minutes and timeshift end to 23:00 if you press a key on the remote at 22:55 timeshift will not switch off until 23:25. Auto Timeshift ON/OFF If set to ON then timeshift will be turned on when you press any key on the remote. Timeshift ON Key You can specify the key that will turn timeshift on. Timeshift Off Key You can specify the key that will turn timeshift off. Timeshift Toggle Key You can specify the key that will toggle timeshift on/off.
