Poms
from Oz are the Pomeroys, Judy, Alan & daughter
Kathleen, whose tight harmony singing using Judy’s
original arrangements has that magic blend that only a
family group can provide. All are dinky di Oz
(Australian) with Judy & Kathy
being descendants of First Fleeters. Their group name is
a pun on their surname.
Most songs are unaccompanied although guitar and
harmonica are sometimes used as backing.
Moods

and
topics in their songs range from serious to quirky and
the songs are gathered from many sources: self penned,
contemporary and traditional.
Community singing is another string to their bow, so
to speak, and they conduct harmony workshops at
festivals and other events or venues. |
