I nearly stepped on this nest which was on a peninsula running out into a lake on a claypan south-east of Punmu. From the illustration in Morcombe it would appear that a Black-fronted Dotterel was the creator of the nest. No bird was noticed so it may be that the nest had been flooded and abandoned.
