MY BOOK PLACE
Welcome! All of these books have been catalogued by shelves and not by authors
and that explains why you will find oddities such as
the Harry Potter books alongside Lewis Carroll and Oscar Wilde,
and Harold Robbins, Sergeanne Golon and Jacqueline Suzanne
on the same shelf as Shakespeare, Carl Sagan and John Scalzi.
Theres fiction of all sorts science fiction, fantasy, mystery, thrillers, some historical novels
but very little romantic stuff!
The non fiction includes history, science, literature, teaching aids and textbooks
and some which are just beautiful books!
Some are very old, some are very small and a few are enormous!
In some instances, where I have several by the same author, they are listed that way.
But in most cases they are mixed, fiction with non fiction, serious stuff with SF, etc.
Most of the books for children are together,
and many large reference type books are on the same shelves.
But on the whole this can be an enjoyable ramble through
what may appear at first to be totally disorganised.
However, if you could only see my real bookshelves, it would then seem quite reasonable.
Many of my books are catalogued by size and ease of arrangement.
At least, this way, I know exactly where (most of) my books are ...
or should be most of the time!
