Cocos Keeling Islands

About the Islands

From the Yatcht Club

The Cocos Keeling Islands are made up of two atolls, North Keeling and South Keeling and are about 24 kilometres apart. South Keeling is composed of a string of islands in a horseshoe shape with two of the larger islands being inhabited, West Island and Home Island. The South Keeling Island group was once a coconut plantation for over 100 years and North Keeling is still in a virtually undisturbed state and is administered by Parks and Wildlife.
