Feb 19th - Concert for Val Hastings The concert will be at the St Nicholas Church Hall, Berkeley Crescent, Floreat. The show commences at 7:00pm. Performers include: Bernard Carney, The Wise Family Band, Doris, The Ten Cent Shooters, Carmel Charlton and The Mucky Duck Bush Band. The compere will be Murray Jennings . Tickets cost $15 dollars for adults and $35 for a family. Donations are also welcomed. All proceeds for the evening go to Val and her family. Since we expect the concert to sell out, tickets must be purchased prior to the night. Payment may be made by cheque or money order payable to Val Hastings. For Adults & Children Victoria Park Centre for the Arts- Music based Workshops Term 3,

Bernard Carney is one of the "Beatle maniacs" of long standing, and will
be passing on his extensive knowledge of the best of the Beatles to
guitarists and singers.  Participants should have a reasonable working knowledge of guitar chords and have done some strumming and be familiar with a few Beatles songs.
The emphasis will be to put the songs into easy chord patterns.
A sample of songs covered:  Let it be,  Hey Jude, Norwegian Wood, Back in the USSR, I Saw Her Standing There, Something in the way she moves, A little Help from my Friends, Cant buy me love , A hard days night, Help and requests from the room.
