Our family was lacking an inside pet which was clean and a pleasure to have around.
I decided we needed a kitten. After much research I fell in love with the appearance of the Ragdoll cats.
We drove to many places looking for our new family member and knew straight away where our new kitten was
going to come from once we met Joan and Bill.
The appearance of the housing for the kittens was remarkable.
The entire area was designed with lots of thought for the kittens and cats. The smell of cleanliness was a tribute
to Joan's caring and cleanly nature. The food laid out for them was like a banquet which was sure to get them
off to a great start. Grated cheese, wet food, dry food and freshly cooked fish on Thursdays.
We now have two cats that are truly part of the family. They have filled the position we had vacant!
I have three children who even now still bags who they are going to have first cuddle of when they get home.
I have found the Ragdolls to be very clean inside and when I let them out to play in the sun they don't go very far away
at all. If they have been left outside, they are always waiting to see us when we arrive home.
I would truly recommend going to see Joan if you have the smallest idea of getting a Ragdoll kitten. The only
thing I would warn you about is the fact that 'You will find it very hard to stop at one!'

After losing my two elderly 'moggies' within a couple of months of each other, I realized that I could not live
without a cat. I did some research and decided that Ragdoll cats were for me. The next step was to find a breeder.
I visited Joan Graham, owner of Jorags Cattery, early one Saturday morning and was very impressed, her cats and
kittens were beautiful and healthy, and they lived in extremely well kept quarters. Joan obviously took the best
care of her beloved Ragdolls and it showed both in their outward appearances and their extremely sociable natures.
The result? I am now the proud owner of two Jorags Ragdolls, litter brother and sister, which are very happy,
healthy and beautiful (not to mention curious) young cats. My two granddaughters, aged 8 & 6, love to come and
visit so they can platy with them, the cats relish the interaction with the children, and their exceptional
temperament means that there are no scratches or bites, they are quite amenable to being cuddled and love nothing
better than human company.
I highly recommend Jorags Cattery, if I had room for more cats, they would certainly be Ragdolls, and certainly
would be from Jorags Cattery.
