CYBERPRO

CyberPro became a repeatedly extended freelance role for me, working in-house 1-2 days per week preparing material for web, print, and exhibition use. Most work was for professional printing. Output files were set up for two to full CMYK inks, pages were laid out inclusive of bleed, provided clipart images were used in consideration of resolution, and all linked or embedded files packaged for print directly by Corel Draw or ported via Adobe Acrobat PDF.

Initially, CyberPro's logo was a raster (bitmap) image, which wouldn't be friendly to eyes upon being enlarged for exhibition signage. So i redrew it manually in Corel Draw as an accurately scalable vector (mathematical) graphic. To keep the shiny metallic look required many crafted gradient fills. A hidden silhouette shape generated the drop shadow effect within Corel, or became rastered on export at final dimensions. A simple flat two-colour version of the logo was created during this process too, and became useful for printing onto carpets and rulers.
