Deckchair and Catch Billy wines originate from the lush Margaret River region. Being exclusively distributed in the Perth metropolitan area by Castle Lion, my capacity as sales support and graphic design extended in promotions and marketing devices used to assist sales for their labels. Working as an extended team, projects have been completed to high standards and in good turnover times.

Deckchair Competition Poster

To relaunch Deckchair's distribution in the Perth metro area, a competition campaign was used as a sales incentive for both stores and their customers. Deckchair is a premium wine from Margaret River, so its imagery is distinct from Catch Billy's casual fun by focusing on the ideal of summer freshness with class. The selected use of white, seeming watercolours, and hints of glassy reflection achieves this tone. As the bottle tasting notes say, this wine is for enjoyment now, not to gather dust on a shelf. The illustration is direct from the label, although a portion has been inconspicuously stretched to fill the page width; a ploy lent by the almost watercolour relaxed style.

Wine Of The Month Table Talkers

Table talkers are often used to support Wine Of The Month campaigns. These are venue specific and run for 4-6 weeks. Although the bare layout is rather templated from previous work, the branding and visual tone are distinct between Catch Billy and Deckchair.
