Deckchair Competition Poster
To relaunch Deckchair's distribution in the Perth metro area, a competition campaign was used as a sales incentive for both stores and their customers. Deckchair is a premium wine from Margaret River, so its imagery is distinct from Catch Billy's casual fun by focusing on the ideal of summer freshness with class. The selected use of white, seeming watercolours, and hints of glassy reflection achieves this tone. As the bottle tasting notes say, this wine is for enjoyment now, not to gather dust on a shelf. The illustration is direct from the label, although a portion has been inconspicuously stretched to fill the page width; a ploy lent by the almost watercolour relaxed style. |
