R+R'S WEDDING

Following Rob+Rochelle's wedding, i was asked to touch up photos taken by their family. Across 3 nights, 84 photos were tweaked.

Many simply underwent a levels and/or tonal curvature adjustment and a crop to standard 6x4" ratio. Other regular touch ups included fixing red eye, selectively adding or subtracting lights and shadows (mostly to faces and gowns), removal or dimming of visual distractions (eg reflections, camera lens dirt, painting grass over reticulation covers), and overall tints (eg adding a slight yellow hue push to add warmth an otherwise cool coloured photo).

Some photos required transplanting eyes when people have blinked in an otherwise good picture. Thankfully there was a reasonable amount of source material, which could then be copied, scaled, rotated, colour and light balanced.

Some low light source photos were lifted as best as possible, then given a blur pass to lessen the original lighting noise and regain some solidarity to colours.
