The current generation of gaming consoles - Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox, and Sony Playstation 3 - all encourage online gaming as play, distribution, and marketing. However, the Sega Dreamcast was the first console built ready for online services.
Some friends of mine needed help getting their Nintendo Wii consoles online, as they support local wireless broadband only. So i made this small website to help. It describes the requirements of the modem router providing the local access, how to set the Wii for best security, and how to manually make game save backups. There is intention to add explanations and solutions to common error codes as warranted too.
Just check out my Wii Help website yourself in a new window. It's only three pages.
