Volunteers working on the Montbellew Workhouse Project (Co. Galway, Ireland) are seeking to make contact with descendants of former inmates including a number of orphan girls who were sent to Western Australia aboard the ship ‘Palestine’ arriving at Fremantle on 28 April 1853.
