Crest HR is the creation of Brian Halberg and David Zilko and came into being in January 2005. Brian and David both come from a broad range of work and life experiences and draw heavily upon these in order to provide maximum value to clients, candidates and the wider community.

Brian began his involvement in Human Resources in 1978 and has worked within the recruitment industry, both in Australia and Canada, at levels from Consultant to Senior Management.
While his work experience in recruiting covers everything from Executive Search (head hunting) with one of Perth’s premier executive search companies to working as a national manager for one of Australia’s largest industrial recruitment and labour hire companies, Brian still relies heavily upon his engineering trade and sales background to bring a balanced approach to recruiting.

David Zilko has been in the recruitment industry for 3 years. David’s background has been in industrial recruitment from trades to general industrial. With an emphasis on people, David is a hands-on recruiter that prides himself on understanding the specific needs of his clients businesses and the job requirements of all placements.
He brings support to clients by involving himself with current issues they may have and seeking solutions to make the worksite a more harmonious and efficient one. It suprises most candidates and clients that David likes to try jobs out himself before he recruits people into them so he can understand the culture, requirements and nature of the of available jobs and the dynamics of the clients' organisation.
