The Bach, at last!

"The Bach" is finally, FINALLY out! I refer, of course, to Winsome's pet solo project of recent years, her own transcription and recording of J.S.Bach's Six Sonatas and Partitas (BWV 1001-1006). There are many ways to purchase this, including three different beautifully-packaged configurations as a physical CD release (details on the Discography page soon), but if you just want a quick listen or a relatively cheap and easy way to get it onto your iPod, click here. There was also an article in The Sydney Morning Herald on 19th June about the project.

The Renaissance Players on Facebook

With the MySpace page still a useful place to read news about The Renaissance Players and listen to a small selection of our tunes, there is now a page for the group on Facebook as well. If you have a Facebook account, come and say hello!

The Renaissance Players on iTunes

You can now purchase selected Renaissance Players albums (or individual tracks) as direct downloads from the iTunes online store. The CDs are encoded in iTunes Plus quality (AAC 256kbps for the technically-minded), and you will find the individual links for the albums currently offered by iTunes on our Recordings page under each title. They include the four Sephardic releases, our Christmas 2CD set Testament and the Cantigas compilation Of Numbers And Miracles.Take us with you to work, the gym, in the car, the hobby farm...wherever!
