What we do?

At some stage, all towns have an unexpected emergency and its people like ourselves that are called to assist others. For many years we have always had the odd grassfire and property fire to attend, but we seem to be more and more needed to attend a motor vehicle accident or chemical spill. When possible we also attend community functions like Australia day breakfast at our towns local park and submit a teem into our local bowling clubs corporate bowls competition.
Every year we are available to our local townsfolk to perform hazard reduction by burning off prior to the summer season.
Maintenance is performed on fire hydrants annually. To keep up with the diverse tasks that is required, changes with personnel and technology and to be aware of hazards we may face, we are constantly training.
We undergo training sessions from rolling out hoses to mock car accidents to keep our skills alert.

We are all local Volunteers who give our time to have a very special service available to our community.
