Bruce and Maree Duncan purchased the Clackline property in October 2000 with the intention of growing macadamia trees.

A severely cold winter and two extended summer droughts proved macadamias to be unsuited to the conditions at Clackline. Research led to the planting of a 600 tree olive grove on the property in the years 2002 and 2003. Olive growing is the primary function of Duncan Group International, trading as Clackline Valley Olives.

At the same time, DGI provides web site design, technical douments and business management system consultation to the small business sector.

A previous project in Sulawesi, Indonesia, has led to the transformation of lifestyle and economy for that region.
