There is now a more interesting alternative to the highway route connecting Perth and Kalgoorlie. Between Toodyay and Merredin you can follow the pathway trodden by our pioneering forefathers, making their way to Kalgoorlie in the hopes of finding a fortune in gold.

Visit historic wells and soaks - including Namelcatchem Well, built sometime before 1865 to provide water for miners travelling to the Goldfields.
