Bunbury Flying School can offer accommodation at our cottage situated at Preston Field airstrip which is located approximately 50km North of Bunbury. The cottage is located at the end of Finn Road just North of the Settlers Roadhouse on the Old Coast Road.
The cottage has two bedrooms which both have en-suite facilities. It is self contained with a fridge, microwave, washing machine and a television and video recorder in the lounge area. There is also a second television in one of the bedrooms. There is a gas fired pot belly stove for heating and evaporative cooling for use in summer. There is a toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery, sheets and bedding. In short pretty much everything except towels and personal requirements! As the cottage is fully fenced well behaved pets are also welcome.
The cottage is located immediately adjacent to the airstrip and so it is possible to fly in and park the aircraft on the lawn and spend the night. It is about 21 nautical miles North of Bunbury Airport and around 25 minutes by road.
