Audio_Out is one of the most linked-to blogs on the web and that's because it's fucking cool. It's like having a much older friend who was actually dj'ing in the late 80's and early 90's acid house rave times of yore. This dude writes really well about old records and then posts mp3's of 'em. Some of my favourites are Moby's Thousand, The Prodigy's ravey-breaksy remix of Jesus Jones' trashy Zeroes And Ones and Crystal Clear (Clear Like An Unmuddied Lake), which is a beautiful remix of a track by The Grid (of Swamp Thing fame) by The Orb (of awesome early-90's chilled tripout fame). But apart from just harvesting the free mp3's, this guy writes pretty well about them and if you spend long enough reading it, you'll end up with a bit of an understanding of the rave-ish side of dance music. Which, as I said in the first post, is fucking cool.
