On Tuesday, 3rd October 2006, R.Wor.Fra.V.Rev. Frederick Shade VIII° 9° was installed as Chief Adept of the Province of Victoria by the Supreme Magus, M.Wor.Fra. John Paternoster IX°, who came from London to perform the ceremony.

The Installation took place at the regular meeting of Francis Bacon College that meets at the Kew Masonic Centre.
