Juventus and Salas part ways
Chilean forward Marcelo Salas has come to an agreement with
Italian champions Juventus to rescind his contract with immediate effect.
Salas has spent the last two seasons on loan in Argentina with River Plate and
looks set to continue with the club on a new permanent deal.
Salas joined the Bianconeri from Lazio in the summer of 2001 but never really
established himself as a first team regular at the Turin club.
