A song dedicated to Scirea
Being a champion, on and off the
pitch, and not only for the classy play but also for the faultless behaviour and
mild character, means becoming an example, a model to imitate. The unforgettable
Gaetano Scirea has been all this for any soccer lover and for a Bianconeri fan
in particular.
Fabrizio Gregori, a songwriter from the Bergamo district, has found in Gaetano a
source of inspiration and has composed a ballad dedicated to him: “Di qui non
passa nessuno”. It was thus born a charity project, exceptionally sponsored by
Maria Grazia Cucinotta: the proceeds from the sale of the CD single will go to
the Committee “Crescere insieme al Sant’Anna”.
“Di qui non passa nessuno – the author explained – is a tribute to someone who
has meant so much to me. When I felt discouraged, when I saw that those who were
more cunning did succeed while I was remaining behind, Scirea was a point of
reference for me. I used to look at him and say to myself: “You can succeed even
being fair”. This song is my way to thank him”.
