The Bianconeri take on Napoli at the Delle Alpi, a match which sees Ciro Ferrara celebrate his 34th birthday and make appearance number 250 for Juventus. The former Napoli man will also wear the armband in the absence of the injured Antonio Conte.

Juventus are also without the Iuliano, O'Neill and Trezeguet (injured) and Davids (suspended). Manager Carlo Ancelotti will play his usual 4-3-1-2 system with Birindelli and Pessotto the wingbacks with Ferrara and Tudor playing at the heart of the defence. The game also marks the full debut for Matteo Brighi who joins Tacchinardi and Zambrotta in midfield. Zinedine Zidane takes up his customary position in behind the front two of Inzaghi and Kovacevic. Alex Del Piero is on the bench.

Napoli for their part are without the injured Mancini, Moriero, Nilsen, Pineda, Stellone, Vidigal and Troise. Their manager, Emiliano Mondonico, will adopt a 3-5-2 system with former Bianconeri striker Nicola Amoruso partnering Brazilian livewire Edmundo up front.

Given Roma’s win at the Dall’Ara in Bologna, the Bianconeri must clearly win to stay in touch and keep the gap to six points.
