Juventus ended their six game win-less streak on Sunday afternoon as they spoiled Daniel Passarella's Serie A coaching debut by defeating Parma 3-1.

Juventus took the lead early in the first half thanks to a fantisic volley by David Trezeguet, but the Bianconeri joy didn't last long as a Zambrotta deflection of a Lamouchi drive allowed the visitors to level the score in the 22nd minute.

Juve didn't appear minimly shaken by the equalizer and charged forward again only to see respective shots struck by Zambrotta and Birindelli crash off the crossbar of the Parma net.

The key to the match occurred on the stroke of halftime when Parma midfielder Almeyda was shown the early exit for a foul on Davids.

This contested decision allowed Juventus to dominate the Gialloblu in the second half, but only in the final minutes of the game were the homeside able to clinch the three points thanks to strikes by Alex Del Piero and David Trezeguet.
