Paris Saint-Germain have announced that they are prepared to loan out wayward striker Nicolas Anelka for the rest of the season if there's a concrete deal at the end of it. The Parisians are looking for around $18million which represents a loss of $10million since they brought him home from Real Madrid.

Lazio and Juventus look to be the most interested parties as both clubs have followed Anelka's career with interest since he joined Arsenal. Real Madrid pipped both Italian giants in the race to sign him, but the interest is still intact even after a very poor season in France.

PSG coach Luis Fernandez has been involved in heated dispuites with the French international recently and the attitude of the board is that Anelka won't settle down under the regime of the Basque coach.

Juve would seem favourites to strike a deal as his compatriot Trezeguet is currently the Turin golden boy in an attack hard-hit by long-term injury to Marcelo Salas.
