Juventus confirmed to be in their best moment of the season as they crushed Udinese 3-0 in the Delle Alpi. The Bianconeri sealed the three points off in the first forty five minutes of play through goals by Zambrotta, Nedved, and Davids, but the game's fate could have been totally different if Muzzi hadn't wasted a spot attempt in the opening minutes of the first half.
Lippi is convinced Juve will do great
things in this second part of the sesaon, after that for the second time in a
row his team played a very impressive match.
"We grew in confidence, and under the psychological aspect we found
enthusiasm and unity of intents," said Lippi.
"It was important to win the match against Udinese, because I knew it
wouldn't have been an easy one. Buffon was great when he saved Muzzi's early
penalty," added the Juve boss.
With Inter playing Lazio later this evening , Serie A champs AS Roma temporarily
regained the lead of the table by defeating Torino 1-0. The Giallorossi once
again suffered against a much weaker side, but this time they were able to bring
home the three points thanks to a fantastic first half goal by skipper Francesco
Totti.
