It's a small world, this band world. More than an hour's flight away from my band mates, I think I am amongst people who don't know me, so I don't have to worry about how bad I may play, four years after having pretty well given it up altogether. Not likely. I looked around to see what other instruments the band had, and where they were all sitting, and I could not believe my eyes. Behind me sat two french horn players, a husband and wife couple who I had played with in the Waverley Band in Melbourne!
