This
is not to say the I am lazy just some time we all will
find excuses, while they seem like darn good reasons
at the time, to delay, put off, avoid, something in
our life. This Project was started to help myself
deal with my own excuse making.

Some are from family, friends, workmates, acquaintances,
customers and suppliers.
Late for
work:
Me late starting? What about you’re early
too quitting.
I don’t get a lunch hour, I’m paid for
38hrs, so I don’t see the need to work an extra 6 hrs
per week.
My Wife was exceptionally emotional this
morning and I needed to hold her hand for half an hour.
Well truth be known. I had to hold
the hand with the carving knife until the sedatives
kicked in.
I didn’t realize how hard it was to get
blood off of Vinyl floors.
You said you would appreciate the staff
being here at 8:30am, NOT,
we HAD to be here at 8:30.
What do you mean “We don’t Flexi-time
here”?!
I did tell the customer I didn’t start
until 9am, he just thought I listened to the Boss.
What! You were sarcastic when YOU said “I could turn
up when ever I please”
Had an extra chapter of my book to finish before posting
off today.

Look we all know that a this sort of thing can not be
ready in under 6 weeks
Some customers have unreal expectations of what these
products can do.
Not Finishing
or Doing a Task:

Not Having
a product in stock.

That was the last one.
Stock is in transit, should be here after the sale finishes/after
the holidays/ after Christmas.
You didn’t ask us to hold one for you.
It is an unreliable model, the only stock available
now is refurbished new equipment.
There is a change of model, new stock will be delayed
Transport strike, all deliveries are delayed.
Courier/Transport have not been today.
Painting
the House: Well.. Not getting started or continuing
once started

Had an argument with the wife over colours
The Grinder Burnt out

Ran out of sandpaper

Needed to re sand the wall because we used the wrong
primer
Was bitten by Green Ants couldn’t work for a couple
of days.
Sprained my ankle getting off the Trestle
I injured my knees doing some paving now I can’t climb
the trestles
Too hot for the paint
Too Cold for the paint
Too Cold for me to paint..
