Ingredients;
2 cups of milk
1/3 cup of honey
1 tablespoon of salt
1/4 cup of oil
2 tablespoons of yeast
1/4 cup of warm water
5-7 cups of whole wheat
flour
Method;
Warm the milk, add honey,
salt and oil
Dissolve yeast in warm
water and add to milk mixture
Stir until smooth
Add flour in three parts,
beating well after each addition until a stiff dough is formed
Turn onto lightly floured
board, kneed until smooth and elastic for 8-10 minutes
Place mixture into a bowl,
lightly grease and turn once to coat
Cover and let rise in a
warm place until doubled in size, around 50 minutes
Shape dough into 2 loaves
Place into greased loaf
tins
Cover and let rise for 30
minutes
Bake at 180 degrees c for
40 minutes
Remove from pans, brush
tops with melted butter and cool on rack
