Welcome to the website of the Geraldton Four Wheel Drive Club (Inc.)
The Club was founded in April 1976, and is affiliated with WA4WD Association Inc. and Track Care. We align our practices to both the Tread lightly campaign and CALM's guidelines.
We are based in and around the "Midwest/Coral Coast" mainly the Geraldton & Greenough community and we are a family orientated Club. We welcome persons of all ages, and are owners of four wheel drives, with swags, tents, campers or caravans.
Our current membership is approximately 30 (70+ people) and we organize extended, weekend or overnight fun filled trips. We also have a Social events calendar, including barbecues, car rallies, sporting events, picnics & bring and shares.
2006 brings excitement with our upcoming 30th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS.
Some of our very successful extended trips in 2005 have been to re-service the "Dunny" at Durba Springs on the Canning Stock Route, Kennedy Ranges, and De-Grey Stock Route.
Inclusive in our trips are overnighters to locations like Lake Indoon, Wooleen Station, Congoo Dam, Poondarri Rocks, and many more too numerous to mention.
One of our most successful claims to fame is the reconstruction of Well 6 (Pierre Springs) on the Canning Stock Route. Like many other 4WD enthusiasts, our Club has successfully restored this well, using funding grants and raising a good deal of funds through fundraisers, for the materials etc for the project. Our members support was outstanding both with their time and muscle.

Our meetings are held every second Wednesday night of the month at 7.30pm, at the Residency, 321 Marine Terrace, Geraldton. (A light supper provided) ![]()
