THE   LOOP   ORCHESTRA   AND   ANTHONY   MANNIX   PRESENTS   "THE   GARDENS   OF   MEMORY"

After nearly three full decades of performing in Sydney and very close by, The Loop Orchestra is, for the first time, hitting the interstate highway for a special performance. Following the acclaimed live collaboration with Anthony Mannix at Callan Park in 2009, this unique pairing will appear again, featuring an audio soundscape accompanying Anthony delivering one of his classic, insightful, challenging readings. The performance is a showcase event for the Margin to Centre exhibition, a collection of artworks by international and Australian outsider artists, at the South Australian School of Arts Gallery.

The night will also feature a performance by Rudely Interupted, and from 5:00pm a gallery floor talk followed by the offical opening.

You are cordially invited to join "The Loop Orchestralist", a list to which official information about The Loop Orchestra is disseminated. Permeation is minimal - about as frequent as releases and performances by The Loop Orchestra, though given the frequency of such the year the list started - 4 live appearances, an appearance on a 12" compilation, and a couple of records, it could possibly resemble a small avalanche. Perhaps.

The details of those who are on the list will remain strictly confidential - your email address wont be seen by anybody on the list - the butler and no other will be posting to you through it.

It's a bit of a pain, but you'll have to manually type the address into your emailer. Still, nothing like the pain of splicing loops.

< STOP LOOP >    As this web site is tenuouly held together with short pieces of sticky tape, just as a loop, and just as a loop can break so too has the web site, so please substitute "net" for "com" in the email address.
