The Following is a extract from "Web Anglers"

The word was out that the tailor were running in force between Geraldton and Dongara. Not the jumbos around 4-6kg that the area is famous for, but fish around a kilo that would be regarded as good ones back down in the metro area.

It gave us an excuse to get up to S-Bend again for around the fourth or fifth time in not much over a year. It's just such an easy thing to do for a short two or three-day trip. A pleasant four-hour drive, check into a chalet or in-site van at the caravan park, unpack and go fishing. It doesn't have some of the back-to-nature joys of a full-on camping trip, but it's so hassle-free it can almost be a spur of the moment thing.

There wasn't a whole lot of room left with the five of us and our gear packed into Thommo's new Discovery, but the air was thick with optimism on the drive up. Midnight Oil and Bill Lawry - This is Your Life filled in the quiet stretches, and driving through a couple of ferocious rain squalls just short of Dongara only served to elevate the excitment among the kids.

Now that's good tailor country...
