OK, that title is a truly horrible pun, but at least it gives you advance warning about my warped sense of humour.   If you don't know why it's a horrible pun, you didn't watch the right TV shows - Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is loosely based on the fabled Greek hero, with a fair touch of humour and a lofty disregard for mythological and historical details (defying gravity I can forgive - after all, Isaac Newton hadn't wandered by yet - but Ninja warriors and Mediaeval crossbows in pre-Golden-Age Greece?); recommended for entertainment value, though.

Let's get this out of the way quickly: yes, my name truly is Hercules Gunter, handed down from grandfather to grandson because of long-standing family tradition (which died right here!).   It's a lousy name for a short, fat kid, but not too bad for a 6-foot adult, even if he didn't take up body-building.

No giant entertainment corporations have had their rights infringed by my use of this name (hmmm - wonder if I can charge them a royalty for using my name?).

This page used to contain some of my ramblings and information about hobbies and such.   It probably will again at some future date.  For the moment, it's just a placeholder.
