ASSEMBLY BOLTS
One screw broke off, all are in poor condition due to corrossion

FAN HOUSING INSIDE
To remove motor - slacken these bolts & tap lightly with a soft hammer
|
FAN - INSIDE
Drive pin is on the inside

FAN - OUTSIDE
To remove fan: Remove commutator cover & brush assembly. Place in soft jaw vice. Pour penetrene about fan/shaft area. Remove circlip. Gently work fan backwards & forwards with a pulling motion.

BRUSHES
The whole cause of the corrossion - a new seal was needed. Brush spring tension on 2 brushes is low, brushes are jambing
