I then decided to "improve" on Jason
Leung's concept of underfloor insulation by using highly polished
Aluminum on the heat shields.
This didn't work, so the front muffler insulation was removed & a sandwich of woven mat either side of reflective aluminum was attached directly to the underfloor. The front muffler heat shield air gap was maintained.
