Nearing the end of the Bitumen at Leonora

Great Central Road Near Giles Western Australia - Hanny Hibble & BeenCan

Roadside camp - Sabine has broken a rear suspension arm near Giles Western Australia

A 50 metre road train pulls up to see if we are ok.

Everyone passing, pulled up to make sure we were ok.

On Road trains:

  1. The national limit seems to be 3 dogs & a total length of 50 metres in outback areas.
  2. The limit in more populated areas seems to be 2 dogs & 30 metres.
  3. The multi dog juggernauts seen in some pictures, are not allowed on public roads.

Talking to the truckie.

Backup Toyota LandCruiser "Big Truck" has 2 flat batteries & waits for a tow start, before shooting off to Alice Springs for repairs.

The Slowies, Big Truck, Pam & Me camped in the bush & set our fire & tables up on the road verge the night before, the rescue group consisting of the French Team & patient Uli Whitting arrived about 4 pm.
