Tunbridge Cottage

Margaret River

Tunbridge Cottage is how you would imagine a country cottage would be. It was crafted from local granite in the '80's' using mainly recycled and local materials and is set in a garden of fruit trees, flowers and birds.

Located adjacent to the "Rails to Trails" bush walking and cycling track and is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town and a short drive to the many attractions of the 'Cape to Cape' region, which include beaches, wineries, crafts, potteries and woodworkers.

The cottage, with it's wood finished interior, can accommodate 4 people. It is pleasantly furnished with a comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom and a spacious bedroom..

Equipped for your comfort and enjoyment with:-

  • Queen sized bed
  • Double sofa bed
  • Single bed
  • Doonas and Pillows
  • Linen and Towels
  • Electric Stove
  • Microwave
  • Fridge
  • TV, Books and Games
  • Gas BBQ
  • Picnic Basket

In winter, curl up beside the wood fire with some fine wine and local cheeses and enjoy the pleasures that only Margaret River can offer.

In Summer you will be able to take advantage of the large gas BBQ and outdoor table and chairs set on the shady verandah. We have several outdoor games, including Boules and Totem Tennis.

We welcome you to enjoy the garden and a piece of fruit from our many fruit trees. We are happy to have children stay. The garden has a sand pit and has lots of room for playing.

From our Visitor's Book:-

"The perfect end to the perfect honeymoon!" Belinda and Ian, Perth

"What a beautiful garden - butterflies, kookaburras and basil for our barbie. Spotlessly clean and a joy to return to after a day's activity. " Susan and Geoff

"Second visit and the cottage and gardens are still as beautiful. It was lovely to see the friendly welcome from Ann and Peter once more." Carol, Charmaine and Marcus, Northumberland UK.

"We have been coming to Margaret River for years - this is the 'Best' place we have stayed. Everything was just right from the warm and sincere welcome to the fluffy towels, the books, magazines, toys and games to the deep bath. Even a teapot in the cupboard! The garden is a delight. Thank You." Sharon, Agatha, Albert and Edgar, Perth.
