Introduction to Permaculture

'There is a lot more to Permaculture than gardening'.

This workshop takes you on a brief tour of some of the different aspects of Permaculture - the philosophy and principles, our connection with the natural world, water systems, soil building, gardening, farming, passive solar house design, appropriate technologies, forest systems, aquaculture, communities.

Much of the workshop, however will be devoted to the home garden or smallholding, with a tour of an established Permaculture system.

The emphasis is on design, with the practical design of a garden being a feature of this workshop.
