Kojonup's flora and fauna wonderland

Kojonup kangarooKemminup Farm Homestay is surrounded by Kojonup's wildflower wonderland and there are some 'must see' places nearby.

Yeedabirrup Rock Reserve, to the east, is 15 hectares of unique orchids and wildflowers, with rock lizards and a permanent pool for canoeing - a favourite spot for picnics and rock climbing.

Picnic at Yeedabirrup Rock ReserveAustralian Bush Heritage Block, to the north - a woodland habitat for 80 species of native birds and around 200 native flowering plants, and a refuge for native fauna.

Myrtle Benn Flora and Fauna Sanctuary, to the west - one of the fascinations of the natural bushland is that, no matter what time of year, there is always something flowering. This sanctuary supports large populations of honeyeaters and other small birds.

Farrar Reserve, just a short distance from town, is an excellent location to enjoy our fabulous Western Australian wildflowers.

Kojonup is also home to the Kodja Place interpretive centre, showcasing the Aboriginal and pioneer heritage of the area and featuring a wonderful Australian Rose Maze.
