| Dyke Write has been voted the winner of the Online Literary Award, courtesy of the Stonewall Society 2002 Pride Awards! Many thanks go to all of you who have visited, revisited and invited friends to come along with you! Of course, without you all, it would have been impossible for us to acheive this honour, so here's a big heartfelt "THANKYOU" from scarlet and phoenix :) |

| Apologies to all those who have submitted to Dyke Write in the last few months and have not had their writing posted. With increasing work and study commitments, it has proven difficult to devote any time to updating. To remedy this, we have undertaken this restructuring of Dyke Write to allow our guest writers to post their own material; all writing pages are now in a forum format. |
| Not only does this format change mean increased efficiency for our guest writers wishing to post their work, but it will also be possible for users to respond and comment on individual pieces. More information on how to use the forums for posting and responding is on the guests' writing introductory page. |
| You will also notice Dyke Write has had a change of url. This is because we wanted something shorter and easier to remember, so please don't forget to update your bookmarks. We also decided that since we had to change the system for submissions, we might as well give the old site a bit of a makeover. |
| We have ditched Geocities for the bulk of our webspace and moved to a different webhost; this should result in a minimum of advertising and annoying pop-ups throughout the different sections of Dyke Write, as well as solving the problems associated with Geocities' data limiting that caused pages to be unavailable for viewing at times. |
