Welcome to my 2nd page of Maps for the Kalamunda Zig Zag , This page shows the rest of the line from Kalamunda to Pickering Brook & Karragullen ( The end of the line ) , Pickering Brook had the extention that went onto Barton's Mill , Carinya Mill etc ; The townsite of Bartons Mill was named after the mill itself ( so I'm told ) & There's not much info available that I can find so far so I hope to place any pics or info on Bartons Mill when & where possible.
This page will be updated over the next few months after I can get some time to modify the maps to show where the line went which will "Clarify" what you can already see just like I've done for map 1B.
Kalamunda to Karragullen
This pic ( below ) of the "G"class loco at Bickley would've been on it's return journey back to Kalamunda from Pickering Brook or Karragullen as can be seen on the map above here.
I hope to add to this page as soon as I can with more detail where possible.
