As stated on my other N.D.M.E.S. page - I've taken the Northern Districts Model Engineers website on board for them & This page is an "Inclusion" as a part of mine ; The following pics that are included here were supplied from a club member & as I get more time to make this a better page - It will be a lot better presented.
I know that some info in this page has been "out of date" for a while now but as I'd lost 80Gb of info from my old hard drive & it has taken almost 1 year to re-build many pages of my website so , if there's any problems with this page please let me know.
The Northern Districts Model engineers now have their own website again ( apart from this one ) & a link to their "New" website can be found at the bottom of this page.

Ron Date is seen here driving a loco called "Bushfly".
Ian "H" is seen here driving "Tsetfly" ; Both of these locos are a part of the "Blowfly" family of locomotives.
Here's a 5" scale N.S.W.G.R C32 class built by Ron Date & being driven by Jim Clark.
Here's a 5" scale N.S.W.G.R C38 class loco built by George Palmer (pictured with his loco).
This is a 3 1/2" scale W.A.G.R. "Dd" class loco built by another club member ( pictured with his loco ).
This loco is called "Taffy" & is also built by another club member.
Here is another club member ( Dennis Lord ) with his scale model of a N.S.W. XPT power car in 5 inch scale.
The Northern Districts Model Engineers can be found located up at Balcatta ( a northern suburb of Perth ) just off Balcatta rd in Vasto place & just behind the BMX track , It operates to the public on the LAST Sunday of each month.
This road map ( above ) shows the simple directions on how to get there from Perth by using the Northern Freeway known as the "Mitchell Freeway" & finding the nearest exit to gain access to Balcatta rd" or by using "Wanneroo rd" , Vasto Place is closest to Wanneroo rd & can be found by using the "Northern End" of the "Tonkin Hwy" as Wanneroo rd passes over the top it & so by taking the 1st left onto Wanneroo rd & then1st Right into Balcatta rd Vasto Place will be the 1st Left right next to the "Western Power" depot.

Public Access :
The track site is open to the public on our Public Run Days only (an entry fee applies) , Members of the public are most welcome, however please note that fully enclosed footwear must be worn by everyone whilst on the site ( including children ) ; This is a site safety requirement and entry will be refused if suitable footwear is not worn , If you have any questions about our run days please check with one of the contact people listed below for more details about our facilities - Our facilities can be hired for private parties , group bookings or other special events.
The club meets on the second Friday night of each month at the club rooms from 8pm
Club member’s run day is on the Sunday after the meeting from 9.30 am onwards.
