Welcome to my "Other Projects" page ; In this page I hope to outline some of my other modelling projects that I've done over the years.
######################################
My 7 1/4" Ride On Loco
This is one of my 7 1/4 inch projects aptly named "Bumble Bee Mk1" ; This 4 wheeled loco can haul at least one carriage up the grades of the Cohunu Park railway , It's fitted with 4 wheel brakes & a "Forward/Reverse" gearbox & a 10speed range set of gears for running in either direction.
I built this project over 2 1/2 years & it will eventually have a loco body placed on it.
My "N" scale Stevensons Rocket
Here's a pic of MY "N" scale Stevensons Rocket that I built back in 1990 & represents about 2 1/2 to 3 months worth of work & has travelled to Sydney with me on a few occasions so far & is the only one that I know of ( in this scale ) in the world as this loco is not produced by anyone commercially.
This 2nd view ( although slightly blurred ) shows the same loco from a different angle in my workshop.
My Kalamunda Railway station model
This pic shows my Sn 3 1/2 scale model along with the real Station of which I've modelled , This model was modelled "As it would've been in it's Day" & represents it as it was back in 1927.
My scale Avro Lincoln Bommer
Here are 2 pics of an Austrlian made & designed aircraft , This model of my uncle's Lincoln is made from craft wood (M.D.F.) , Balsa wood & some "N" scale track pins ( to represent the guns) .
This plane represents the Mk30 Loncoln & is numbered A73-44 as was my uncle's plane before crashing near Amberly in Queensland (Australia) back in 1960.
With the picture below - I've placed a tube of super glue near the model so you can gain some idea of it's size , The scale is close to being "N" scale ( although a little under size for "N" ).
"O" scale N.S.W.G.R. C38 class
"O" Guage House N.S.W.G.R. C38 class loco
Some of you may have seen these few pics below on my "Current Projects" page once before while I was restoring it ; The loco has now been sent back to it's rightful owner in N.S.W. ; I've decided to place these few here so others can still view one of my "Other Projects" that I've worked on.

Below : An "After" Restoration pic
"Before" & "After" - from the rear view.
My "Aussie Invader 2" slotcars
Here are a few pics showing 2 scaled models of Roscoe Mc Glashan's "Aussie Invader 2" Jet car ; I arranged with Roscoe to go up & visit him in order to take photos & measurements in order to make these models.
In these 3 pics - The lager car is to the AFX scale of 1/64th scale ( "S" scale ) while the smaller one is to the 1/87th scale ( "HO" scale ) , The "S' scale car runs 30 "scale" kms/h faster than the full sized car! , It also uses a modified AFX chassis.
This pic shows the car from the "Drivers side" , I have never finished the paint job on these cars as you'll notice.
& finally - The rear end of these cars , You might notice the "fire light" in the after burner of the "S" scale car.
Other pics of this ( & other AFX cars ) can be found in my "AFX" page.
My Ford Mustang & Falcon
In this pic above - You'll see my "MPC" brand Ford Mustang with an old "Matchbox" brand one beside it ( Currently being restored by me ).
MPC brand Ford Mustang
2 scale Ford cars - The Mustang on the right & an "XB" sreies Falcon on the left.
This scale 2 door ( coupe ) "XB" Falcon was made by Bruce Laker models & trimmed & painted up by me , it is fitted to a Revell brand CJ '69 Boss Mustang chassis.
Indian Railways "W.P."
Above : The completed Indian Railways "W.P." class loco form the front "Fireman's" side while Below is the same loco from the Rear "Driver's" side.
G scale Garrett
In these 2 pics the Garrett loco is in it's "Undercoat" Grey & awaiting final details like it's Headlights etc , These 2 views show the loco from the front ( & rear ) Drivers side.
My Workshop Roof
Here are 2 pics of my workshop as seen from outside , These 2 pics show how it looked "Before" I re-built the roof - Above & how it looked "After" it had been completed - Bleow.
My "N" scale N.S.W.G.R. F.O. carriages
Pics 1 & 2 - This is 1out of 7 of this series of end platform cars ( that were made in the U.S.A. for the New South Wales Govt Railways in real life ) that I've modelled here & were classified "FO" in their fleet ; These 2 pics were taken on my workbench.
###########################
These 2 pics ( 3 & 4 ) show the "HFO" series of the same series of carriages which were a modification of the original end platform carriages shown above & were photographed on the Mt Kevrojon layout.
These 4 pics were taken by John Rumming.
There'll be more pics to be placed in here soon & will be updated when time permitts.

All these pics were taken by me ( K. Bradney) unless otherwise noted.
