Wilderness Wanderer and Southern Wilderness Art Trips are now working together on three trips - Lake Springs, Lesueur National Park and Quaalup Homestead and Wilderness Retreat
Richard House of Wilderness Wanderer is a very experienced bushman with more than 40 years experience. Because of his special interests in W.A. Lapidary and Rock Hunting Club Richard has spent many a long excursion into all the vast regions of Western Australia. This included being part of the W.A. North-South Expedition in the summer of 1971-1972, which entailed traversing WA through the rugged outback and desert regions from Wyndham to Twilight Cove via the Canning Stock Route.
So intense is his interest in wildflowers that his knowledge is put to good use in his tours in that not only does he know where to find the wildflowers, he knows the best times to visit the regions to see them at their best.
Since being involved in tourism he has conducted well over 2500 day tours to The Pinnacles, Wave Rock, Wildflower Day Tours, and private charters. Extended tours to such places as the Kimberley, Canning Stock Route, Monkey Mia, Pilbara, Goldfields, Kalgoorlie, Mount Augustus and the South West as well as private charters and special interest groups for wildflowers, Geology, Photography and Art.Wilderness Wanderer - www.wanderer.com.au
Quaalup Homestead Wilderness Retreat is situated within the Fitzgerald River National Park close to the Gairdener River and offers a range of accommodation - self contained units, chalets, cabins, on-site vans and a camp ground.
